Tom has more than 20 years’ experience in both international and Australian law firms, working predominantly in construction and dispute resolution in Sydney and London. Before establishing the firm, Tom worked inhouse in Hong Kong and Macau for Leighton Contractors (Asia) Limited, advising on and negotiating large D&C contracts, DBO contracts, joint venture contracts, subcontracts and consultancy agreements, as well as advising on contract administration.

Tom holds Bachelor of Science (Honours) and Bachelor of Laws degrees from Sydney University and a Master of Laws from the University of New South Wales.

Tom appears in all jurisdictions and is admitted to the Supreme Courts of New South Wales and Queensland, and the High Court of Australia.

Tom was also selected to carry the Olympic Torch at the Sydney Olympics and served as an infantry officer in 2/17 RNSWR battalion and 1 Commando.
